More Visual Spatial Literacy Ideas
So I was reading about a winner of a short film who used a cell phone to shoot and I found out the director had done a book trailer for
Elmore Leonard![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_uwIhkX2zWY4OtoBM3B_-E0KRjL-7owdsnjXwApIskV4JrL0xmK8dPz2qEOgoMU3lQZuIXyarx8k8XxycIxEouxSedcpH4ji_u_5AkQ8F8G3xk7qrdRqhKiHVzmHtswrh4AFXgqTfNn39q1rasth4NhyehaYLa3NQmwsUDoa_BMS5Uke6I8=s0-d)
. This got me to thinking about book trailers and I ran across a great
Prezi presentation by Michelle Harclerode, which appears to be a lesson she does with students and has handouts with accompany the project. The point of the book trailer, like a movie trailer, is not to give a plot summary, but to entice readers.
Of course I had to try my hand at the process, the result of which is the below trailer for
Tijuana Dust
